about
Like most songs written with the band Fairytale's it would star out as a jam or simple idea and quickly turn into a song that we would end up recording the next day. Susan and Vince were very special people to write a song with they both taught me a lot and gave me confidence to continue writing.
With this song we are trying to say, you have one life and it's a miracle, don't waste it, live, love, forgive, count your blessings, keep growing, becoming and creating!
lyrics
Don't You Want a Little Bit More
Words and music by: Susan Rickey, Vince Conigliaro, Tony Natale.
Don't you want a little bit more, Don't you want a little bit more,
Don't you want a little bit more, Don't you want a little bit more,
Don't you want a little bit more, Don't you want a little bit more,
Don't you want a little bit more.
In the middle of my room,
In the middle of the night, I see your eyes.
I'm feeling surprised, I'm feeling alive, like living in a dream.
In the middle of your life, it's hard, hard to believe, oh,
Such a long, long time, and now your settling.
Don't you want a little bit more,
Don't you want a little bit more,
In the middle of the night, in the middle of a kiss, you sail away.
Something you missed, something you don't believe.
Take it in stride with the New York life.
Child and a wife, is the grass so green.
Don't you want a little bit more, out of life.
Don't you want a little bit more, out of life.
Don't you want a little bit more,
Don't you want a little bit more,
In the middle of a New York night,
you come to me, come to me.
In the middle of your life, baby can't you see.
In the middle of something, I know that you don't believe.
In the middle of a kiss and now it's up to me.
Don't you want a little bit more,
Don't you want a little bit more,
Don't you want a little bit more,
Don't you want, don't you want a little bit, just a little bit more.
Don't you want a little bit,
Don't you want a little bit, don't you want a little bit more,
Don't you want a little bit of me, don't you want some more.
Don't you want, don't you want, don't you want, out of life, out of love, out of everything, come on now.
Don't you want a little bit more,
Don't you want a little bit more,
Don't you want a little bit more, of me.
Tell me baby, tell me baby, tell me baby,
Don't you want some more?
