about

This song was originally conceived in NYC at context studio where Vince and Tony were having a productive writing session. The essence of this song is to promote peace, together with a more constructive way to use our energy and money to help people of all colours and backgrounds in achieving a more productive and peaceful life. Tony hopes to record a live grittier version of this song in the future.
This song is in the top 10 on Neil Young's "Living with War Today" website currently, out of 3,500 songs.

lyrics

Weapons of War

Lyrics by: Tony Natale, Vince Conigliaro
Music by: Tony Natale, Vincent Conigliaro, Oliver Campana.

Verse:
I had a dream about you and me, living life so peacefully,

all this greed and jealousy, your killing thee.

Growing up is not the same, people seem so ready to blame.

All these lies your telling me, do you think we will ever see.

Bridge:
So much money for weapons of War, and not enough to feed the poor.

We can build together so much more, then we could ever win a battle for.

Chorus:
We could come a long way, little by little, everyday.

We could come a long way little by little, everyday.

Verse 2:
Everything goes around in circles, comes around, goes around.

Win or lose its all the same, as we all feel the pain.

Bridge:
To much money for weapons of War, and not enough to feed the poor,

Nobody's neither wrong or right that's why I refuse to fight.

Figure:
All this greed and misery,

Tell me what we're fighting for.

Feed the poor and starve the war.

Feed the poor and starve the war.

Chorus:
We could come a long way, little by little, everyday. We could come a long way little by little, everyday.

Verse: (guitar solo)

Bridge:
So much money for weapons of War, and not enough to feed the poor.

Chorus:
We can come a long way, little by little, everyday.
